Not sure which 955 you have? Which 955 do I have?
Use this page first when programming an SR-955HPC. Pick your radio version, then your Windows version. You do not need a new USB cable for Windows 11. You need the driver listed below. Do not search Prolific.com for a driver.

1. Which 955 do I have?

USB cable: the 955 family uses the same special Stryker USB cable as the 655 and 447HPC2. It is usually in the 955 box. If yours is missing: USB cable for SR-655 / SR-955 / SR-447HPC2.
2. Which Windows driver?
Install the driver before you open the Stryker software. Leave the radio powered on when you Read or Write. Use the official Stryker USB cable.

3. If something still fails
- Display says PC — Why does my SR-955HPC display say PC?
- Runtime Error 6 / Overflow on Read — V2 and HPC+ only: Run time error '6': Overflow (V2 and HPC+ only). Do not use those zip files on Version 1.
- Lost channels or odd memories after a write — I programmed my radio and lost channels. Always Read from Radio before you Write, except when an agent tells a V1 owner to skip Read.
- Radio must be powered on — When programming does the radio need to be powered up?
- Display stuck on “PC” — unplug the USB cable, power the radio off and on, then open the correct software for your version before you Write.
