Is there a way to make sure SWR meter is calibrated does not match up with my inline meter

The best way to confirm the accuracy would be to hook the radio up to a dummy load which should read 1. The readings on the radio may differ if the meter is in line because the meter could be add impedance thus changing affecting the SWR. This happens with linear amplifiers as well sometimes.
