We recommend that you measure wattage with True PEP Reading External Meter. The meter on the front of the radio isn't the most accurate on PEP. The SWR meter on the radio is extremely accurate.
Radio should be putting out 80+ watts. Indicating only 40-50 with RF power on max and mic gain on high.
