4-Ohm and 8-Ohm Speakers with my Stryker Radio

When setting up your Stryker Radio with external speakers, it's helpful to keep in mind the impedance of your speakers. Stryker Radios are best paired with 8-ohm external speakers, which help ensure optimal performance and safety. That said, you can also use 4-ohm speakers without worrying about damaging your radio. Just a heads-up: 4-ohm speakers may require your radio to work a little harder, especially if used for an extended period. This could mean slightly lower volume or your radio getting a bit warmer over time.

If you decide to go with 4-ohm speakers, keep an eye out for any signs of distortion or overheating. If you notice these, it’s a smart idea to switch back to the 8-ohm speakers to keep your radio happy and performing its best.
