How do I know if a radio is still under warranty?

• 1-year warranty (497HPC, SR-89MC, SR-94HPC, SR-25MC)
• 3-year warranty (655HPC, 955HPC & 447HPC2)

All radios except the SR-497HPC have a date code in the serial number. 

How to find the date code

On the SR-955HPC, look in the serial number, 9550140800159

The first numbers radio the model number of the radio (955) 0 followed by the year and the month 1408. In this example, 14 would = 2014 and 08 would = August. The SR-655HPC works the same way, except the serial number starts with 6550. The format is the same for the SR-89MC, SR-94HPC, SR-25MC & SR-447HPC2
