Radio should be putting out 80+ watts. Indicating only 40-50 with RF power on max and mic gain on high.
We recommend that you measure wattage with True PEP Reading External Meter. The meter on the front of the radio isn't the most accurate on PEP. The SWR meter on the radio is extremely accurate.

Which fuse do I use for this radio?
A 15 amp fuse should be used with both the 955 & 655.

Why does the radio's meter show less power output than my external watt meter?
